Riding Lessons
Level one horse riding instructor for private lessons, specialising in children and adult beginner riders.
Lessons in a full size Olympic arena. Training can be provided using our horses or if you prefer you are welcome to bring your own horse.
We can also travel to most areas to assist you with your learning (an extra $10 for travel costs will be charged).
Block lessons of 3 sessions, 2 in the arena and every 3rd lesson is a trail riding lesson.

Lesson Information
Private Lessons: Can be taught on a school horse or bring your own. We can also travel to you. An extra $10 for travel costs will be charged.
Semi-Private: Lessons are 1 hour only and students must be 8 years & older to participate.
Group Lessons: Lessons are 1 hour only. Students are allowed to join the group once they have mastered the rise trot and are able to control the horse independently. A minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 6.
Pony-Pal Lessons: Lessons are either 30 or 45 minutes. Lessons are on the lead rein or lunge rein only with a one-to-one instructor. Students must be 4-6 years. Students learn the basics of horse care & riding including:
- grooming
- how to sit properly
- steering and
- balance exercises
- rising trot can also be attained at this age
Horse care & Management Lessons: Perfect for those rainy days. Students learn all the basic care and management of the horse. This is perfect if there is a future ambition of one day owning your own horse. This includes:
- points of the horse
- grooming
- feeding
- parts of the tack
- cleaning & care of the tack
Cancellations or Missed lessons: 24 hours notice is required to cancel or postpone a lesson due to any circumstance including, sickness, injury or other commitments.
Cancellation Fees: $30 for 30 minute lessons, $40 for 45 minute lessons & $40 for 60 minute lessons with less than 24 hours notification.
Safety Clothing: Jodphurs or tracksuit pants for riding, riding boots or a small narrow shoe with flat sole and small heel. No sneakers. We have helmets available to use. No jewllery.
